Negative Sentence ใน Present Tense 

Negative Sentence คือ รูปประโยคปฏิเสธ มักมีคำว่า not อยู่ในประโยค


Negative form ใน Present Tense

1. ถ้าในประโยคมี V.to be (is am are) ให้เติม not หลัง V.to be ได้เลย เช่น

   รูปประโยคบอกเล่า Subject + V.to be  (ประธาน ตามด้วย V.to be)

  Sentence: She is a teacher.
  Negative form: She is not a teacher.  หรือ She isn't a teacher.

  Sentence: They are in Japan.
  Negative form: They are not in Japan. หรือ They aren't in Japan.

  Sentence: I am playing a guitar.
  Negative form: I am not playing a guitar.

  การเขียน is,are + not สามารถเขียนได้ 2 แบบ คือ รูปเต็มกับรูปย่อ 
  is not = isn't 
  are not = aren't 

2. ถ้าในประโยคไม่มี V.to be (is am are) ให้ใช้ do not หรือ does not มาเป็น Verb ช่วย

   รูปประโยคบอกเล่า Subject + Verb (ประธานตามด้วยกิริยา)

   2.1 ถ้าประธานเป็นเอกพจน์ (มีคนเดียว ยกเว้น I กับ You) ใช้ does not + กิริยารูปปกติ (ไม่เติม s หรือ es) เช่น
        Sentence: She sings a song.
        Negative form: She does not sing a song. หรือ She doesn't sing a song.

       Sentence: Nancy does her homework.
        Negative form: Nancy does not do her homework.  หรือ Nan doesn't do her homework.

 2.2 ถ้าประธานเป็นพหูพจน์ (มีหลายคน) รวมถึง I กับ You) ใช้ do not + กิริยารูปปกติ (ไม่เติม s หรือ es) เช่น
       Sentence: They play a game.
        Negative form: They do not play a game. หรือ They don't play a game.

        Sentence: I do my homework.
        Negative form: I don't do my homework.

  การเขียน do, does + not สามารถเขียนได้ 2 แบบ คือ รูปเต็มกับรูปย่อ 
  do not = don't 
  does not = doesn't 

3. ถ้าในประโยคมีคำว่า can ให้เปลี่ยน can เป็น cannot หรือ can't ได้เลย เช่น
    รูปประโยคบอกเล่า Subject + Can + Verb (ประธานตามด้วยกิริยา)
        Sentence: They can speak Chinese. 
        Negative form: They cannot speak Chinese. หรือ They can't speak Chinese..

  การเขียน can + not สามารถเขียนได้ 2 แบบ คือ รูปเต็มกับรูปย่อ 
  cannot = can't
